water temp sensor... where? - 1973- L82
can't find the temp gauge sensor. One source says the drivers side cylinder head, another says the passanger side head; and yet another says the intake manifold.

It is between the #1 and #3 spark plugs on the drivers side
There is a shielded green wire running out of the wiring harness on the fender that runs to it.
There is also a smog control device type sensor that looks like the water temp sensor located on the passanger side head between the #6 and #8 plugs.
