Am I really lucky or really unlucky?
Well today I decided to go cruising the vette. Had to run a few errands and one of which was to get new tires and a brakejob for the vette. I got stuck in traffic and after stopping and going(really slow speeds), my brakes stopped working. The e-brake has never worked since I bought the car. So I really couldn't stop the car if I sped up faster than idle. The brakes had just enough to stop it at idle. I just happened to be not far from the shop I planned on getting my brakejob. I idled for around a mile and a half and got it to the shop. It's over there right now. I got really lucky again, in that I just happened to be going really slow when the brakes went out. And that I wasn't far from a shop.
Funny though. When I tell people the first couple times I ride in the vette, it catches fire and the brakes go out. They seem to think I've had horrible luck. if you ask me, it's been quite the opposite

I say get a sawz all and go at the floor board. U know cut to big holes out so you can slam your feet down on the pavement to stop..like the pedal cars!!!! Yeah yeah..I know..kinda like Fred Flintstone!! :lolg: :lolg:

I say its perfect. Both situations could have been 10 times worst. Most people would have never drove the car before doing a brake job, but I don't blame you, I would have cruised around with both fingers crossed and said "I can make it, I know I can." :)
Knowing a little about you and your vette, your still one of the luckiest people I know.
