By Pass Vacuum Switch?/AKA as Water Shut off valve switch
My wife's 79 has this switch (GM PN 14009284) on the top of the heater box on the inside of the car. The valve is actuated by the cable that runs from the console control up to the heater box. Does anyone know if this switch is still availible from the dealer? I checked with several auto parts stores they couldn't find it at all. This switch is the one that controls the vacuum to the the heater hose by-pass valve.
If anyone knows where I can get a new one I'd sure appreciate knowing about it. A part number would be great. Thanks in advance.

Thanks to all responders! I did manage to find one at Zip products and their shipping it overnight so I'll have it tomarrow.

Called Eckler's this AM not availible and not back orderable either. I did find it a Zip and M.A.D.. Thanks for the info., it is also used on the an early shark models in the wiper door assembly. :thumbs:
