Default Mid America.... Do you like them?

I'm getting ready to order a ton of parts... what do you guys think about Mid America? I'm used to companies like Summit Racing for car parts... and they are AAA+++!!! But I have no experience with the "vette" parts houses... any advice / experiences???

I have ordered and received parts from Mid america, I live in the UK and found them superb. Parts only took 3 days from placing order to arriving at my door. Can highly recommend them. :) :)

I have ordered several times and spent a good deal of $$ with Mid America and they are a very good company to deal with. You can search around and maybe find better prices, but, it is buyer beware out there with the mailorder places and Mid America is very reputable.

I noticed that you are from Ohio. If you have the opportunity you should go to the Mid America Fun Fest the last weekend in September. Very nice outing and last year they had 7,000 Vettes there.

Cool... Thanks for the input.. Like I said.. I'm used to good companies like Summitt Racing for parts... but Vettes are a new realm for me. Looks like Mid America will be the company of choice... I'll order a few tid-bits and see how they do. :)

Say.. anyone from the Dayton, OH area??

Quaker Steak and Lube have a cruise in on Sunday nights... we could do a Corvetteforum cruise in!! Also... the Value City on Woodman drive is having cruise in on Fri nights now.. I was there last friday, and a good 200 cars were there.. everything from street rods, to vettes, to Pro streeters were there.... AWSOME TIME!!

I had a fitment problem with an early version of their chambered exhaust system... so I removed it. It sat in a box for over a year... they took it back (since it was obviously unused although installed) and gave me credit. Purchased a new gas tank and sending unit etc for my C2 with the credit. Very satisfied.... although they stopped selling the "Wrap Your butt In Fiberglass" panties which I needed for someone. :)

I buy all my parts from MAD have been for years.they are a little more exspensive on some things but you can't bet their service.Plus Mike Yager does so much to benefit the NCM.

The cruise-ins there in Dayton sound good to me.There is also a cruise at Steak and Shake in Milford Ohio on Friday nights that draws between 300 and 500 cars- lots of vettes.

I order almost exclusively from Mid America and haven't had a problem. They are a top notch act. And I have ordered a LOT of stuff over the years.

I agree with the guys. Good outfit. Like all vendors they have some repro's occasionally the I don't feel are up to the quality and design I expect but if you don't like something they always take it back no questions asked and give you a refund.

They are OK. :yesnod:
