just a quick question, how much would one of you pay for this car, just want to know if i got a good deal.
Welcome :seeya
Nice to see another 77 owner has found the forum. As for what I would pay, thats really hard to determine from pics. But I can say that your car looks to be in very good and clean condition. The only downside is the 133k miles. Thats alot of miles, but if it was properly cared for then you should be fine.
Nice looking Vette - with 133k miles, your brake calipers and all bushings probably need replacement. Also check rear wheel bearings and side yoke play.
Great looking car. I'm very jealous of you. I will 37 soon and am just getting my first Vette this week. Idon't know how much you paid for it but you got one that looks great and if you can handle the mechanicals that come up you are in for a great time. In Ontario you would likely have paid 10-12K for that car just going by how nice it looks. Only issue would be the high miles.

That depends...... The motivated sellers can't give em away for $5k, but if you are looking for a nice original well maintained vette you can't find em for $10k... :) so, somewhere in there! Don't torture yourself :banghead: Cost of ownership can quickly exceed purchase price no matter how much you paid! So you won't really know if you got a GREAT deal until you have owned if for a while. It does look very nice, will be a real nice cruising car.... but if you want to build a bigblock and cut a hole in the hood like some of the young fellers do.... that will be cool too! MJ
I got this one for 6K but it needs minor engine work(less than $300). I plan on just cleaning up the engine compartment with some paint and a chrome kit. Keep it stock, drive it on pretty days, and maybe put it in a couple of small shows.
The cost is not an issue. If you are truly in Love with all of our favorite Sports car, then buy it. I am glad to see that you have jumped in the Corvette Love affair. I also have a 77 with that color, but mine is the original color. I have found that up here where I live, that color gets alot of attention. I wish that I had your interior color. I have dark brown in mine and I am not sure if I am going to change it or not. Looking forward to more posts about your new girl.
Welcome to the Forum.
