Hedders, 700r4 tranny, 17x8.5 five spoke wheels/Firestone Z-rated Firehawk tires, VB 360 rear spring, 550 front coils, Bilstein sport shocks x 4, advance kit for distributor, some sort of aftermarket cam. I think that covers the mod list. :D

OK, what's a mod? I guess it is a deviation from stock, not just replacing something, like the shocks, or even using pipe insulation instead of factory replacement radiator seals.... so my favorite mods are,

1. Sears security battery.... been recalled, but I still have it. Might turn it in this summer though..

2. Hooker supercomp headers.

3. 69 style brakelight switch! whooops! this isn't the Bubba thread, is it?

4. Plastic coolant overflow tank, with bright red cap! :)

Lots of work... but very few real "mods" MJ

See sig. Also Spax shoks (nice), stainless brake lines & powder coated everything that I could. Future mods are 460lb front springs, Steeroids & AFR heads (probably 180cc).

Well - it all had it's price.. I spent just about every paycheck (minus the bills that I had to pay) on the C3 for about 1.5 years... So far - I have 52k into the '68... [/QUOTE]
DAMN! I have 2 pages of mods on my computer. I recently added up my receipts and including the $5K I payed for the car, I have $33K in it over 11 years. Now I don't feel so bad!

It's all the forums fault.. I wasn't thinking in racing and modding before I joined this forum.... I had around 25k into my '68 when I joined the forum and the car looked and drove very nice.... Most of the next 27k were for racing mods etc...

I personally like the stock looks of C3's.. They don't need any exterior mods to be beautiful.. However - performance wise - I really appreciate the extra power of my racing engine :D
