Default Self Repairing Antenna

My car fixed its self today! My Antenna has been sticking in the up position since I bought the car. I bought a repair kit but have not gotten around to putting it in. I finally bought a cover and found the antenna needed to be down to usi it. Since it was already broken I just pushed it down into the housing and did not think if it again. Today I noticed it is going up and down on its own :hurray:

Driving the car regularly I have noticed a lot of stuff working better.
Other things which have fixed themselves.
Noisy throw out bearing,
The fast idle now kicks off when you tap the pedal
the wipers work
the sluggish headlight comes up
Rear end whine has reduced

What things have fixed themselves in your car?

I had a power steering leak in my '78 and just as I was going to start looking at how to fix it it went away. Worried me a little, but it has fluid in it, so guess I'll have to wait til it starts leaking again.

I sure wish my car could fix itself. But then again, that would take away all the fun! :D

They say that those repair kits will fix 99% of all problems with your antenna. Do you think this is true?

Also, is there a way to avoid removing the drivers side muffler to fix it? thanks, Les :banghead: :chevy :chevy :chevy :chevy :chevy :chevy

My motor is much quieter now that I don't start it anymore. :D

Sorry - had to throw that one out.

Seriously, though: I have often dissassembled things looking for the 'problem'.
Upon re-assembly, the problem has gone away. I like fixing things for free.

Cars must drive to thrive. Let them sit and they turn to $H!t.
