Can't help you with the sidepipes, but I do have hedman headers for factory sidepipes that I just put on the '74. The driver's side is a great fit... the passenger side is not, with major interference with the steering linkage. Nothing a sledgehammer couldn't fix though. If anyone is looking to dump their cast iron GM manifolds in favor of 1-5/8" primaries this might be a *cheap* solution. Not a direct replacement of course since the stock pipes up to the collector are no longer needed. Here's a pic:
