DeWitt's Spal Wiring Question?
I've been running my Spal setup from Tom DeWitt for about 10 months and they have worked wonderfully. The car stays cool in the hottest temps. Now it's time to get my A/C going again. The last piece I need to figure out is how do I turn on the fans when the A/C compressor engages? According to the wiring diagram sent with the fans the gray wire coming from the sensor to the relay can be activate by pulling it to ground with a switch. The problem is that the A/C compressor is activated by a 12v solenoid. It would be nice to be able to activate the relay for the fans with the same circuit. Anyone have any ideas? Here's the wiring diagram from DeWitts installation paper.

Yes, corrrct another relay, radio shack can supply, about 5 bux or so....
OR an NPN power transistor could do the same thing with a 1K resistor in the base lead....but then again, you should be a geek to do that....
