Bubba's Next Two Most Valuable Tools
Bubba's next two most valuable tools (after the hammer and a bigger hammer!):
WD-40 and duct tape.
If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40.
If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Now Jim, where would the big dull brick chisel fall into this pecking order. It's used for things that should have moved but were made permanently attached in some fashion, usually welding. ;)

 weld? To permanently attach things, I use a drill and big sheet metal screws w/fender washers.

Ah..I stand corrected. I hope you don't use stainless sheet metal screws. The cheap ones get such a beautiful patina when they rust.

I believe in recycling - generally, I use the ones I find in the old cabinet in the corner of my garage (left by previous owner, who had an automobile inspection station there in the 40's-50's). Beautiful patina and old world craftsmanship obvious in every flake. :D

Better yet is when Bubba uses bailing twine instead of wire.

The prybar was in the car. I lost some screws....so I guess I will JB Weld the steering wheel back on.

HEY, MY garage resembles that remark, I have 3 large drawers plug a large enough oak drawer box full of odd bolts from 40++ years of car hobby, and many many many a Pontiac.......I have enough hardware to make a Pontiac from the 60-70's...easy, maybe two of them....
