Stupid Freakin' Shifter
I've refinished, repainted and redone most of my interior now, and ordered new pieces for the FUBAR ones. My new center console plate arrives, and I go to put it on. It doesn't fit. The moron who owned the car before me put a Hurst shifter on thats bracket/linkage is too tall for the stock console plate-which explains why this boob mutilated everything trying to get it to fit. Needless to say, I tried to order a new, correct shifter from CC...They don't have them in stock. And so, after two years of working on it...I am forced to leave for CA for a year, prolonging my ordeal. I wish I could just finish it already and enjoy it. Ugh :banghead:
