Default Seat belt too short.

My passenger side seat belt is about 4" shorter than the driver side coming out of the floor. Is there a way to get the extra out of the floor? It retracts to the shoulder reel OK but is significantly shorter on that side.

It sounds like part of it might have gotten twisted up on the spool, you are gonna have to take the cover off the take up bracket and see if it is in a knot.

GM parts used to carry a seat belt extended of about 6-7" for portly people. Ask a dealer to do a search for one. Also, the other post of wrapping around the spool makes sense. Pull the seat and take a look. Another source if all is ok, is Snakeoyl. They make any size you want.
