Removing Console
Hi Forum, I'm a new member although I have been reading the posts for a couple of weeks. Find it very informative. Having trouble removing the the console on my 74, section that parking brake goes through. After removing screws on sides it seems to be attached at rear. Anyone know the trick to removing. Thanks Bob

There is a bolt which you can access under the rear compartment that attaches to the rear of the PB console. I removed the entire rear compartment door assembly when I did mine, don't know if there is an easier way.

There is a bolt that holds the back down. It is under the glove box. You may be able to get at it from the jack compartmrnt, but I always pull the covers and take out the glove box.
