Help Replacing steering wheel!!
I removed/replaced by key cylinder in the steering column, but now the spring behind the locking plate is giving me hell when I'm trying to replace the locking plate. How the heck do you compress that thing enough to insert the C-clip back on the steering rod?? Any suggestions??

You need a special tool. You can rent it from Autozone. If you are using the tool and can't compress it far enough to get the clip on, you may have trapped a ball under the plastic race. I did that one time when I was putting mine back together.
