No longer a troll!!!!
Hey folks!!
I'm the 3rd owner now of a '73 convertible!! Bought it tonight!! Unfortunately, I can't take the top off by myself and no place to put it in the parking garage (apt.) but man oh man, is it fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
They say that a man never forgets 2 things, his first love, and his first Corvette, let's try it!
Anyway, just wanted to share the news!

My congratulations too! My first vette was a '73 vert. Loved it, but like you I lived in an apartment at the time and had to cart the darn thing inside when I wanted it off. It really didn't matter though as it was a great car and only 1 of 2 vettes in the small town I lived in Colorado.

I mainly lurked for the 1st and 3rd reasons, did not have a Vette (yet!) and wanted to learn what I could before getting it.
I have a pic of a car almost like it on the 'puter, but need to send to someone to post it. :( I don't have a good digi cam yet, so can't take pics of MINE just yet (give me time!)
Anyway, here are some specs:
Original L48 engine gone, L82 in it's place (with Venus Tri-Power no less!)
4 speed BW and Hurst Comp. shifter, original shift ****
Hard top came with (!)
Factory (but not correct) big-block sidepipes
Miniature butt-load of extra/spare parts, and new weatherstripping
Cragar's instead of the slot rims like I want (any trades out there???)
Originally a yellow color, has been painted black, but needs body work and new paint
Almost brand new interior, needing only minor stuff.
Well, that's all I can think of right now
