Default Timing HEI?
I will be setting the timing on the corvette this weekend. When reading through Lars' paper on the topic I noticed diferent steps if you have HEI ignition. What is HEI and how do I konw if I have it or not? :confused:

79 stroked to 383. Stock distributor. I have a MSD box, but haven't hooked it up yet.

HEI for your year has the coil built in the cap and it looks like this:
