Well, the recent loss of a job has forced me to relocate from the insanely expensive state known as California. So I have chosen to return to sunny Arizona. :) Hey, even with some money in my pocket, which I know will go farther in AZ.
Ahh! I can already feel the heat.
So my corvette brothers and sisters, get ready cuz I'm bring the Roadster home. Let me know where you all hang out and the best places to take my car for repairs.
Welcome to AZ. I live down in Gilbert, close to BSEERY (in Chandler), so get in touch with us once you get settled!! I left So. Cal a year ago and have NOT regretted it!!
Are you looking to buy a house when you get here??
Well, I lived in 'Old' Scottsdale for 7 years and my wife has family in Paradise
Valley. Not too shabby of an area.
However, we have also been looking in the Chandler/Gilbert area. We'll probably get an apartment for 6 months in one of these areas. This will give us time to look around.
I do know this - whatever house we do buy will have pool. I smell house warming party......
Also can't wait to take the Vette around the 101 and 202 loops. :auto:
 The Chandler/Gilbert area has some really good home buys and that area is growing like wild fire.I think you can still get a home with decent size piece of property there also.(for that 40x60 garage you want to build for the toys) :D Good luck in your search. :seeya
Congrats on the new beginnings! Actually, I am heading out to Phoenix myself next week for an interview. Not sure I would end up there, but everyone tells me it's a great place!
Welcome! I am down in Tucson. I needed the cooler temps. Phoenix was way to hot! :lolg:
I can't argue with you here!! We played golf yesterday and could only play 15 holes... It was 114 out there in the shade and on the course it must of been hotter. We had to cool off in the clubhouse for 15 minutes before leaving. It was getting dangerous out there.....now I know what they mean when they say "heat stroke"...
