turbo cost for a c3
how much would it cost to turbo a C3. not a heavy duty track job but something to get a lil more bang out of a 350. i know all that is involved in a turbo but i have a friend interested in turboing his vette and wasnt sure what to tell him it would cost. All labor can be done by us so that isnt part of the final price equation. any insight would be greatly appreaciated :D

I don't think there's a kit out, so it would probably cost a fortune to assemble the kit from pieces etc. Not to mention tuning your own set up would be a nightmare.

hmmm, maybe you would be better off going with a blowthrough-carb centrifugal setup. I think Vortech makes one. less power but much less cash. or you could go custom.

They make a really hot product, and the supercharger is self oiling!
Around $2300 or so for the basic setup. I'll probably be doing that next year :D right after the richmond 6 speed :party:
