Well, as most of you know, we just picked up our CE from the painters for the second time a couple of weeks ago.
Last night, me and the wife went to dinner in it, and on the way home on a 2 lane desert road, with almost no shoulders, we are cruising at 65 with the cruise set. guess what walks out in front of us, A dang coyote, out here they are about 20 to 30 pounds and almost 2 feet tall.
The wife goes "Ahhhh" and I almost instinctively give the wheel a little right-left jiggle. all I could say was "That was fun". We missed him, and didn't even drop a wheel off the pavement. This would have wiped out the front of the vette.
That farthead stopped in the middle of my lane.
I had to check today in the daylight to see if his tail was stuck to the front of the vette.
We had to laugh, if we would have hit it, the call to the body shop for the third repair in less than a year, would have been embarrassing.
heck, I was driving home tonite from a club on a divided parkway (3:30am) I see 4 deer just standing on the shoulder waiting to dart out in front of my GMC
and to think, I JUST DETAILED IT :smash: :smash: :smash:
Did almost the same thing heading towards Tombstone once on I-10 in a carvan of Vettes on a poker run. The Coyote had been hit already but was still tall enough to do some damage. I was wondering why everyone was swerving when it came my turn to dodge him. Running about 85 MPH.
:steering:
Dawg,
Very lucky!
You should try it with a Roo. They bounce in front of you with no warning. and then there's the wombat. About a foot high and made of Brick S*** houses Major damage to steel cars. imagine what they would do to Glass!

And they walk away! Honest!
