test drive a 68 vette

I am looking at a '68 vert and was wondering if their was anyone out there who lives in or around Hugoton, KS. I don't want to drive/fly up there if it the car isn't in good condition and a good deal. I was wondering if anyone out there that lived near it wouldn't mind taking it for a spin and checking the engine out to see if its a good deal before I head up there(its not a short trip) So is there anyone out there who wouldn't mind helping I'd be very thankful and give you a free meal or something.

Thanks in advance for helping me get my first vette! I hope someday to contribute to the forum the way a lot of you guys and gals do!!
