81 Tail-light problem
Hello everyone- the tail-lights on my 81 either quit working or never worked (hard to tell since I've always driven it in daylight since buying it in 1997). Turn sigs - OK, brake lights - OK, tail-lights blow fuse when I turn on headlights. I've replaced all the bulbs, removed the "extra" wiring added by a previous owner to tow god-only-knows-what, and inspected the wiring all the way to where the wire loom enters the interior. :banghead:

Check the socket with a volt/ohm meter and see if you're getting power to the filamets for the tail lights. If not, check the wiring for a short to ground or loose connection.
