Re: Dunlops or BFG or Goodyear or Pirelli or Yokos or ? (Les)
I am so impressed with my Yokohamas. Cost me $46 per tire, and they outperformed almost everything else at the drag strip, including the $300+ Goodyear Run Flats on my C5. My car has about 450hp, and it held the traction very well, and I would have been about 12.8, but my tranny shifted from first directly to third, so it was a 13.880.
They look great, and my G-timer showed a .90g turn a few days ago AND I DIDN'T EVEN SLIDE!!! (Better than the Mercedes C32AMG wearing aggressive Continental ContiExtreme rubber I test drove in on Friday. (.87gs at breakaway.) )
I've even driven my car in a couple downpours, and I was really, really impressed with the traction!
Go for the Yokos...cheaper and better than the BFGs!

Im in Aus aswell and was told Kumho didn't supply the Ecsta in Australia for
255/60R15 which is a pitty. That would have been my first choice.
I could get the Pirelli Scorpian but decided not to. In hind sight I should
have given them a try.
I've got the Yokahama 352s which is probably about as good as I will get.
I will get 18" rims as soon as i can afford them.
