Default replace 68 fiberglass frontend

We are thinking about buying a 68 but the front bumper was hit and it pushed the fenders up in the middle ( cracked them both ) so I guess the whole front end will need to be replaced. It this just a matter of unbolting the old one and installing the new one or is it more involved ?

others will chime in but the front fenders on a vette don't "bolt on" there is quite a bit more involved.

We know we will need to replace the whole frontend ( not just the fenders ) but does it all come off in one piece?

Yes it can. Ecklers sells a manual showing where to cut and remove and how to install a new one piece front end. The best I remember, you cut at the rear of the front fenders, at the top and also you have to break the joint down the rear of the fenders where it bonds onto the cowl area.
