Hi all. Went to Carlisle last Friday and bought my first Vette. 1981, 350, 4 speed, A/C, power windows, painted tops, red outside, black leather interior, 29,400 miles. As soon as I figure out how to post a picture, I will. :chevy
Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a nice low mileage vette. Can't wait to see some pictures. Until then, the rest of you can just look at the '81 in my signature below and pretend the interior is black.
"Welcome to my nightmare . ." as Alice used to sing. Seriously, Welcome Aboard and congratulations.
Now all you have to do is be prepared to lose your girlfriend / wife / significant other if she doesn't understand; be penniless because all your spare cash is tied up in your Vette; be diagnosed with "fix-it-upius" and "while-I'm-attius" even if the car doesn't have YOUR symptoms; have permanent stretch marks from grinning when it is running and you are cruising; and finally, be prepared to mingle with some of the best people around here on the forum.
