Default defroster grill
I am trying to determine if the defroster grill for a '78 should be flocked or just plain plastic. The restore manuals don't note this. My '78 has a flocked one, but I am unsure if this is from an older car. I would love to buy a new one, but they aren't cloked. If it supposed to be flocked, I will restore mine. If anyone has an orignal '78 defroster vent, please tell me if it is flocked or not.

Maybe your defroster grill is "flocked up"

Sorry - couldn't resist.

The grill on my '79 is just plain old American plastic.
