Braided hose for fuel and coolant. Who makes the best quality and where can I order them. I've seen some pretty cheezy hoses out there and want something that looks pro not bubba. Pics can help. Thanks

Re: Braided Hoses? (Scudd)
I bought this fuel pump to carb kit from Summit. Works good for me. I think it's Earls. Someone posted a while back that the Russell fittings are easier to work with when joining the SS braided hose.
I only use Aeroquip, Russel and Goodridge. The earls fittings have ugly anodizing on them (especially the reds are ugly) and they are a pita to assemble compared to the others.
It all depends on what you want them for. If you're going for a hi-po system and want the best you can check out Earls or Aeroquip at Summit or Jegs. If you're going more for looks you can get nice stainless hoses from Spectre, also from Summit. They are stainless hoses but not in the AN sizes and they don't use special connectors. You can get the Spectre clamps which are regular hose clamps hidden under aluminum fittings. Take a look at my sig pic. All the hoses and fittings are Spectre and all are from Summit. I've had them on for over a year now and no problems.
All those braided sleeves I've seenbecome dull after time and they are very hrad to get on without wrinkles.
Those aren't the sleeves. Spectre makes both kinds. They have the sleeves which slip over your existing hoses and also hose with the sleeves bonded on to them. The sleeves suck and never look right. In fact most times you can see the hose right through them. The hoses however look just like the high cost pieces and are made much better than regular hoses. There is no shifting or wrinkling of the braid. All the hoses on my engine are like this. This from Summit's site:
"its 304 stainless steel flex braid on high-quality nitrile rubber hose construction, its inner ply of braided cord with Hypalon for extra durability"
vettfixr, I thought you meant the add on sleeves, can't comment on the ones you use. they look great on your engine and judging from your comments they're a lot better than those loose sleeves.
