voltmeter
I am changing my ampmeter to a voltmeter. Looking at the back of the meter which one is the positive termnal to connect the power? Left or right.
I take for granted the opposite one is the ground. :smash:

I ran a wire to the positive side of the battery to the right side (looking at the back) and ran a wire for ground to the left terminal and nothing happened. I can reverse the wires if you think nothing will happen. I just got the gauge changed to a voltage gauge from Rogers.

Mostly meters will deflect off scale in the wrong direction if hooked backwards....but there is a chance it's against the peg, and therefore you don't see any deflection....
also the red terminal is positive, and the black negative, and they could be marked +- also....
the one connected to the case frame is definately negative....
