Any one going to the Fun Fest
Just wondered if anyone was going to the fun fest in a couple weeks?
Are there plans for meeting other forum members?

Frank, Im from St. Louis and there are a lot of us going to the funfest. Most of us are only going on Sat. We get there at opening. Last year my 79 was on display in the 50 years of corvettes. I belong to the Original car Club of St. Louis and there are several groups that are going to caravan. It sure would be nice to have a spot for forum members to meet and put faces to the names........Larry

I posted this on the C4 section also, with no replies so far. I am trailering the 70, and wife is driving the 86. we'll be there. look for the 76 prefix Indiana plates. on both of the cars.
Sure wish there was someplace for us all to meet. I wonder if Mid-Amrica monitors this forum , and could set something up?
Any ways, see ya there. BTW, I waited to to end to get a hotel, every room in Effingham is booked, I ended up in Altamont 10 mailes away. To far to drive for just one day. Will get in Friday afternoon, and leave Sunday mid day.

I learned my lesson last year, the closest we could get was Vandalia, about 25-30 miles away. I have the green 79 with license plates "LTS-VET. Hope tp see you there.....Larry

We'll be there all three days. My girl friend and I are driving up from Bowling Green, KY. She has a Mulsanne Blue 71 BB Coupe with license "BLUBYU" and I have a Black 75 that actually looks like a 78 with license " IWAVE2". Hope to see you there. By the way, gorgeous 70 vert!
