The Portable Vette (Update)
When last I posted this, I had a few complaints about it being in Microsoft Excel format. Some folks didn't have Excel and didn't want it.
While experimenting with VB & Access, I ran accross the CHM format. It is a compiled Windows file format, similar to the help files you get.
Anyway, it will run on any windows computer, without any other programs installed.
I converted The Portable Vette into CHM format and thought I would post it up for anyone interested. http://www.bastaards.org/Vette/The_Portable_Vette.chm
Almost forgot. For those who havn't seen this, it is a database that contains every year of Corvette from 53-2002, along with whatever data I had been able to find including option codes, engine block numbers etc etc.

But, you have an error on the 1982 page.
The Collector Edition was a test bed for the rear hatch, to be standard on the new design C4.
Then they added special turbine rims, bronze T-Tops, tri leather seats and door panels, and the gradient fade decals and pin strips to complete the Collector package.

The is the last year for a body design that dates back to 1968. This was the reason GM produced the Collector's Edition, to commemorate the end
