Starter Solenoid Replacement
Is the starter solenoid the little cylinder that all the wires go to? How much should one cost?
Is there anything special that I should know about replceing it? I am going to be pulling it all apart this evening, and would like to have some idea of what I am doing when I start.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Can you buy just the solenoid for Chevy's? I thought you had to replace the whole starter. Although I know there are rebuild kits for the solenoid.
If you can just buy the solenoid then I dont expect it would be much different in price compared to a f*rd solenoid. Those run about $5-$10.

A cheap replacement will cost about $12. Nothing to it really. Twist the old one out of the slot on the starter and reinstall the new one.
