for me....there's like no auto paint stores around here. Except for the junk stuff they sell at regular auto parts stores. http://www.repairnation.com/index.html
Check that link out, it gives great advice on all the brands, what's quality and what isnt. Plus it lists alot of online stores, it's a lot of reading, but it's all good stuff.
I bought everything at a local auto parts store. They have one guy there who deals with the paint etc issues and he is a true expert. That's the type of guy you need to deal with. With all the different types of primers, activators, paints, clears, flex agents etc you need advice from someone who has specified the total material list before. By the way, Dupont paint costs approx. $260 per gallon. I used 1.5 gallons. Total material cost was $1,100. Turned out great though. I will be posting pics.
Sherwin-Williams Auto Paint store (different from the Sherwin-Williams house paint stores).... These guys can mix and match in a heartbeat. Never had a bad mix or shade.
IMHO, sherwin williams isnt easy to spray. I spray PPG and Dupont Chroma series. so much easier. I'd reccomend PPG K36 primer with the proper activators and catalysts.
