I want to install a new intake manifold for my '74 L48,
I don't know what is the difference (power, torque) between Edelbrock's Performer and Perf. RPM
What would you reccomend ?
(I already installed Edelbrock Square-Bore 600 cfm Carburator + custom air cleaner - K&N style)
Re: Edelbrock Performance vs. Performace RPM intake ? (setes)
Without a high-rise hood, or a drop base air cleaner, the Performer is going to be your only option. I used it, and it's great. Use the stated RPM ranges to decide which one matches the concept of your engine better. Performer will give you better low end torque, the RPM may sacrifice that for a better high end.

ttt not to take over your thread but I would also like to install a new manifold and carb on my '76 l82 can someone provide model numbers of both items that are basically bolt on?
Re: Edelbrock Performance vs. Performace RPM intake ? (setes)
You want one that matches your setup. Performer 2101, Action +, or EPS are what you need w/ a mild setup. Probably EPS since you have the "Edelbrock Square-Bore 600 cfm" carb.
Performer 2101 is good for over 400 HP.
Performer RPM 500HP.

:withstupid:
Get the one that will be suitable for your setup from what I have learned a RPM Air Gap is closer to a single plane as my dyno numbers are similar between that and Vitor Jr. Would not do too much good on stock or mild setup :D
