Default a/c blower motor question

On my 73, the blower works, but not much comes out of the vents. I looked under to hood, and there is an area on the right side (passenger) in the wiper section, in the fender area, that has a screen over it. I feel the air blowing out of that area very good. I would think that it should not be blowing out of that area but taking in the air from the outside air. I guess my question is "could the blower be running backwards, and if so how would I change the rotation, or could it have the wrong blower motor with the wrong rotation?

Thanks

Have you done any of the wiring? possibly wired backwards..... no blame, just a thought.

I just got it, I have did any wiring, but could have still been done backwards, I will check it out and see, but I do think the blower is running backwards, just need to find out if I can get the rotation reversed.
