fuel injection hood clearance?

fuel injection hood clearance?
Seriously thinking of going with the holly cmdr 950, but I have the stock 327 hood. Does anyone have FI with the stock hood? I don't mean to down anyone, but I personally can't stand the cowl hoods. I love to run a wolf in sheeps clothing if you know what I mean. Thanks

I have the 950, but have not yet installed it. I have the small block hood as well and believe it will fit. I may have to do a little milling (well, I won't, I'll leave that to my buddy) but I'm hoping to keep the stock hood. I don't care for the L-88/BB hoods either, so I called Eckler's and asked about the "stinger" hood clearance vs stock. They said there was no diff :confused: . IF it becomes an issue once I get everything back together, I may call back to verify that bit of info.
Otherwise, there are some folks here who have done some custom work, so that may be an option.
