Any idea why my car would stall when it gets hot, it only does it after I drive it for a while and stop (to make a turn or at a light). After it stalls it will start right up again.
I agree with bluevetteman, it would be easier to get advice if you revealed more info about your engine. Also, when you start it up after a stall how long until it stalls again? Does it idle nice when cold? When you hammer the gas does your car hesitate or accelerate jerky? Have you done anything to the engine lately or did this problem just start happenning all of the sudden one day type of thing?
My guess is that it is either an ignition/timing or carb issue (ya thanks Boofers that really narrows it down  ) The problem is carb and ignition problems often diagnose the same. Your carb idle may be set too lean. Your timing may be too retarded.
If you search the forum archives you will find all kinds of possible explanations.
Whats the idle speed in gear when stopped when it warm? maybe the idle is too low or the choke is not fully opening after warm up. Or it may just need a good tune up which would cover ignition timing and carb adjustments along with the other usual tune up parts like plugs, wires, cap, rotor...ect...
