Default Need help taking off rear rotor

So I'm on my way back home, and I hear like a snap and then a grinding noise coming from the passenger side. Before it was just a slight squeaking coming from the RR, but now there's a grinding noise and I'm pretty sure it's from the same tire. I just redid the brakes, so I thought maybe that was the culprit, but I looked them over and they look fine. I suspect it may be either broken parking brake or bad wheel bearing. I want to take the rotor off, so I can try to figure it out. The rivets have already been drilled out, other than that, I'm lost on what to do.

If the rivets have already been drilled just take the caliper off (bolts on back side 2 of em) the rotor should come right off.

Have you tried rotating the wheel to see where the noise is coming from? I had the same thing happen, and it turned out it was not the brakes, but the dust shield rubbing against the rotor. Lift the entire rear, suppor the car safely. Then, put the car in neutral, with the parking brake off, and rotate the hub. You may find your culprit right there.

If it's not the dust shield, and you've drilled out the rivets, use a dead blow hammer to remove the rotor. But obviously, take the caliper off first.

I get them all the time and it is the parking brake spring breaks and is rubbing.
