I'm having trouble with the mileage, but I guess it's possible that a 14k mile 24 year old car would entice someone to totally redo the motor.

Anybody see front speakers in this location before??

I have a hard time seeing where $32,000 is in that '79. Gotta be a typo or the whole underneath is chromed. And why the cheapo dash cover & cheesy pin striping around the back lights? Nice looking vette though with the reserve met at $12,000.

I'm not sure about 79 but I know at least in 80 you couldn't get the L82 with a manual trans only with an automatic.

L82 was available with a 4 speed in 79.

I like the speaker location. I would just add some extra backing around the speakers to help with vibrations. Nice car for the price. If I had the cash I would have placed a bid on it. Wire wheels would need to go though.
