???on ported vs manifold vac-Lars?
Ok, someone help me out here. Would your gas mileage be better with ported or manifold vac and same question for performance?? :confused:

Do a search for his very recently published paper on the subject. You will feel like a genius talking to your friends after you read it. It does depend on each individual application, but the paper should answer your question for the most part.

At part throttle operation such as cruising on the highway, both types should provide the same amount of vacuum, giving you the same vacuum advance and the same economy. At WOT, neither will provide any vacuum advance, so performance will be the same as well.
