Ok here's the idea. You have $5999.99 to spend on a crate motor, or a build up, LETS SPEND IT! :crazy:
Goals: Street car, capable of a Daily driver but not ment to be one. Non-stock, mod away, preferably EFI; MPI, TBI ect. In the 400+ hp/tq ranges.
My initial plan:
GM Crate Motor 350 Ram Jet. But I desided to drop this, can't tinker easly and not in the power range I want. $4600.00 in budget.
New plan #1; Gm 383 Fast Burn w/ Alum Heads with a Mini Ram III; $4200.00 for motor and $1200 for the Mini-Ram Setup. totsal $5800.00.
Plan #2: 383 CID ”Enforcer 400 TPI” 86-92 Engine – Comp. Cams hyd. cam,Edelbrock Performer alum. heads 400 hp w/hyd. roller cam. $5,595.00*** From American Eng.
So ideas? What kinda Power we guessing at on the 383 Fast Burn from GM with a Miniram III?
