Default Lessons learned on a Fri evening.

1. If you are going to try and complete a task over the weekend make sure you have ordered the correct parts, no one has them in stock near you.

2. Valve stem guides are not all the same outside diameter.

3. Do not test fit valve stem seals.

Does anyone need 15 11/32", .531 OD valve guide valve stem seals? My valves guides are .500.

:(

I can't use the seals, but another good thing to know is that kids think the bottomless hole in the fender on a C3 is a toolbox and any tools not being used belong in there. Sounds like you had a good Friday then. :yesnod:

 thing is I am prolly going to drive 195 miles to Summits retail store tomorrow AM to get em. I have wanted to just go there, imagine having access to all those parts. Got a couple other things I could use and 3 hours in the Formula with the stereo up full blast sounds like fun. If you see the car in my sig, get out of the way.

Try NAPA. Perfect Circle makes these seals.
