help please---lookin for a wheel
I need a wheel to use as a spare for only in emergencys. i know I can get a Corvette ralley or re-production thereof but im really tight on money. ide like to find a regular GM steel wheel that will work on my 73 at a junkyard for dirt cheap. Does anyone know of a plain steel 15" wheel from another GM model that will work on my vette as a spare? Will a Caprice or Impala wheel fit?

You need a Corvette wheel. Either a rallye or an original spare steel wheel. Anything else will be fine for the front, but will rub the caliper in the back.

Thanks for the info. I guess ill snag one of those repro 15x8 ralley wheels from jegs. They run about $68. Anyone know where to get one cheaper?
