I recently placed an order for rubber parts for my '69: vent door rebuild kit, radiator seals, a-arm wheelwell seals, etc. One item was received damaged and another item was not specific to my year. Upon faxing the problem to them, the items were promptly replaced without question, or insisting on the hassel of sending the incorrect items back. I am a satisfied customer.
I regret the delay in responding to your email, as I was out of town and not connected to email. The president of Dr Rebuild took me to Vermont and New Hampshire last week to do a survey on Moose and Corvettes. :D Moose = 0; Corvette = 12. http://www.ncrs.org/forum/tech.cgi/frames/read/96382

I've seen many-a-post on this forum bashing Doc's company for substandard customer service. From my own experience, there is no better 'vette parts company to deal with.
Case in point. Last Friday morning (9/19) I telephone ordered a complete vaccuum hose kit for my '70. When I asked the woman taking my order if there was any type of rush delivery service she suggested I simply use their standard method. She indicated that they would try to have the order shipped out of their warehouse on Monday (9/22), or more likely Tuesday (9/23). I returned home from work on Monday (9/22) only to find my package from Dr. Rebuild!
That, in my opinion, is service above and beyond! My thanks to Doc and his staff.
Doc Rebuild is great to deal with as far as I am concerned. Shipping is super fast, and I have not had any issues with missing or damaged parts. I have never had a problem on the phone, and the individuals that I have spoken with are pleasant and knowledgeable.
My only issue is that my catalog is getting old.
Hey Doc, How about a new catalog?

I would have a much higher opinion of Dr. Rebuild's websight if he would remove his "Internet Mouse Humpers" section. He continues to refer to a sad era of vendor bashing that is now several years old. I think that whole section detracts from the professional nature of his business.

I have dealt with Dr Rebuild many times (they are 40 minutes away from me) and I must admit that I have never had a problem. Infact the lady that answers the phone the majority of time (sorry dont know her name) knows more part numbers/parts discriptions than most, if not all, the other Corvette parts suppliers. I can recall one time when I called and asked for the black goey, tar like stuff that covers the AC pipes coming out of the heater box, without a pause she reals of the "technical name" and a Part number (and they have it in stock) thats very impressive. I have also picked up items at there warehouse, even met the dogs and the staff have been very curtious (they are always mad busy...phone rings none stop) and they carry/manufacture some of the more difficult to find parts.
I'm sure some people may not like their approach and we can all say we sometimes have bad experiences with parts suppliers, but I look at it like this, if is wasn't for these people , the parts suppliers, the manufacturers of reproduction items etc etc, our "hobby" (addiction!!) could die, and we need a few of them, a little competition is always a good thing.
