Jet Hot is good, but I've heard it's not permanent. Also heard if you spill oil on the surface it will discolor. Hang tight, the guys that have Jet Hot will give you better guidance
I had a set headers coated by Jet Hot about 10 years ago and I had problems with rust after one season. I never even drove the car in the rain!!
I sent them to a company called High Performance Coatings in Bluffdale Utah and had them recoat them. This coating has lasted since then. I just had them coat a set of Hooker headers and side tubes for my 69 big block in Black. They look real nice I must say. http://www.hpcoatings.com
Check out Air Born coatings. I talked to one of the reps at a show here in Charlotte NC and was impressed with them. They had examples both on and off the of vehicles. Full inside outside coating for headers is about $220. There warranty is a complete redo of the entire peice if you have chipping or rust through. They are probably who I am going with. They do have a web site.
:iagree: AirBorn does great work. Had my headers done for the Chevelle almost 4 years ago. Still no rust. Still look great. They are a professional outfit and great to work with.
