Default A glimpse into the future - Your next vette?

Realistically, what can you see yourself driving as your next vette? I think I'll be going for a 74-75 vert.

1) 99 or newer C-5 w/HUD after the C-6 and time causes C-5 prices to drop dramatically.

2) 56-57

3) 63-67 Silver or Mosport Green coupe with a/c and factory sidepipes.

None! I think my '70 coupe is IT! I keep trying to convince my wife to get a '69-72 Convertible but she won't budge. :nono: :cry If I keep trying, I think I'll end up divorced! :D

My "dream" 'Vette is a '69 vert - colour not a major issue, but yellow would be nice!

I will be changing my '81 for a 2001 or newer C5, this is only because my 330i Sport is up for renewel in just over a year and I will be getting the C5 as my daily driver. We also have a family MPV for taking the kids and dog out at weekends.

I REALLY want a small block midyear coupe to modify, but I can't part with the '68 to get it, so it's gonna take a while...

My next vette will probably be for the wife. I would like to find a nice 79-81 model. But this will be in the future.

next vette will be a C5, then a 68-69 427 vert, then a 60-62 vert, then maybe a C6-C7.

My next one will be a late C4. I saw a decent '96 near me recently for about $10k.
I want one I can drive through puddles without guilt.

Someday I will have an Ontario orange 1972 LS5 6 speed coupe with side pipes and a hot young blonde with big hooters to occupy the passengers seat.

Funny you should ask. I just test drove a 96 triple black vert with about 28k miles. The guy was aking $20,000, which I thought was a little high. Since I really don't need a second Corvette (but need does not equal want), I think I'll wait until the C6 is out before deciding on a C4. (I'm still not sold on the styling of the C5s).

Probably be a Z06. Don't have any idea as to when, but it might be a 2002 in 2010. Or if I'm lucky, maybe a 2006 in 2012.
