Default Steeroids and Sidepipes ???

Does any one have the Steeroids and Hooker Sidepipes on a small bolck C3?

I am planning on doing the steeroids and hydroboost conversion this winter and may do the sidepipes next year. I have heard rumblings that the Hokker sidepipe headers interfere with the shaft from the steering column to the rack.

Any info would be appreciated.

I'm sending you an e-mail address through IM. I'm sure others have the same question, but I don't want the e-mail address to be subjected to spam. Please contact that individual, and then post the response for other C3 owners to view.

I had to dimple the #1 tube down where the u-joint is. You can also buy shorter set screws. That was part of the reason for the dimpling. The set screws stuck out far enough to hit the pipe when turning the wheel.

Because I have absolutely NO information on how Steeroids fits with the sidepipes. HOWEVER, I do know a co-owner of Speed Direct, the company that makes Steeroids. I absolutely REFUSE to post his, or anyone else's personal e-mail address on a public forum. I don't want mine out there for spammers, and I don't think anyone else wants theirs broadcast either. I gave Steve the e-mail address because he had a technical question about the product. Once he has his answer, he can post the results. If I knew of any fitment issues, I would gladly post them. But I'm not going to post someone's personal e-mail address.

Hope I cleared up your confusion.

Capt'n chill out. I never asked you to post someone's personal email address. Didn't mean to **** in your cornflakes.

You could have easily said to contact the manufacturer of the product, instead you did it in a way which made it look like you knew about an issue but didn't want to say anything.

Thanks Nastee. I did a search last night and found the old topic. I think I will give Steeroids a call when I get home and talk to them as well.

Sorry Mike,
I was in a crappy mood last night, shouldn't have flown off the handle. I re-read my first post and realize it wasn't clear.
