I see most everyone has put their tranny cooler in between the AC unit and the radiator. Mine will fit between the two, just seems difficult to get it in there past the brace. Anyone got any tips or do I need to pull the Radiator back? If so whats the easiest process?
Re: Remove Radiator to install tranny cooler? (joshs78sleeper)
I pulled the top radiator bracing/shroud material- not the fan shroud but the smaller top radiator bracket stuff. The radiator was still held intact fully.
I attached the cooler to the backside of the AC condensor with the cooler lines already attached to the cooler. I pushed the plastic ties up through the cooler and out the AC condensor.
I didnt have to pull the radiator or AC condensor. You just need to get your hands down between them and start pushing the ties.
I didnt get the ties to go through the rubber spacers but I figure that the spacers will be held in place by friction between the two fin sections. So far I havent had any problems and it works beautiful.
