I bought a hood for my 69 from Vanacors. It is a cowl induction style that eliminates the wiper door. They also send along a pair of fender extensions to match up with the back of the new hood.
My problem is that after adjusting the hood at the back, there is a large gap between the hood and the nose piece.
My friend also has a 69 and he bought a hood from Vanacors that does not fit properly.
Has anyone had any experience with this company? Good or Bad?
I purchased a short '68 L88 hood from Vanacrs as well. I test fitted mine and everything appears to line up fine. No matter what brand you buy, most fiberglass parts need some type of adjustmate to fit properly, some more than other.
I put a L88 long style from vavacor on my 69. The one I got fit Great and I didn't need to do the fender mod. You may have to do a lot of adjustments with the hinges and latches. I played with mine until I got a fit that was as good as the factory hood. It looks
I purchased a ground effects kit. I needed to do some modifcations to make it fit. Can't tell you if it was their kit, my car or both that were not the same.

You couldn't give me any stuff from Vanacor's. I called the guy and he told me that my car didn't fit his parts. He didn't offer any advice or help to make the parts fit. The front and rear bumper were both over an inch too short. He was rude and angry. Seemed to me that he got alot of calls about his crappy parts. The finish was aweful and I would have been embarrassed to say that I had made any of the parts he sent out. I had great luck with American Custom Industries parts. Great parts and great, friendly service. Good luck..
