Re: Another e-bay project (Cali,77,L-82)
Yep, looks like a tilt front end, those hood pins would have to go. I'd try to engineer it with a hood release at the dash. Looks like a fun project and it has the BIG BLOCK that your looking for.
You back in the market for a vette or just browsing? I bet up close that '69 is not anything like the pics and buying a flip-up front is just not for me. Hopefully the economy is picking up because I'll probably drop the '74 on E-bay Sunday nite.
I've been in the market for sometime however time not money is the only reason "my azz is not wrapped in fiberglass." I'm in no way serious about that one however here are some candidates;
2. This one is great but I'm not sure about the spoilers, ask anyone in San Diego and they'll tell you me and rigid front fiberglass spoilers don't mix. (4X4 guy at heart :lol: ) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...gory=6168&rd=1
Actually I like the tilt front end, way cool. the car is not over the top custom and thats good - I could do without the faux baldwin motion hood scoop but the rest is nummy :jester even though it is as rough as a cobb
IMHO People don't chop up Corvettes they wreck Corvettes and replace the front end with a cheezy front end. Don't bid on this car buy a nice one. If anyone knows YOU know all the time money and effort you put into your 77 was lost. So unless you like working on your cars just buy a nice clean car. hope I didnt offend you
