I get a lot of the vette catalogs, but i don't especially like the plush dirt holding carpet in my 80, but i dont find something more suitable cut in the 80 pattern. Also, where might i find some cool looking new custom guages.
Has anyone mad there own seats?

I dunno abotu the carpet. I have seen folks use autometer and swapout there gauges.. do a search I think you will find it.
Im looking for seats my self also. there isnot a wide selection for seats that will fit the vette AND if your a big dude (like my self).
I suggest doing an internet search for CORBEAU, the A4 model will fit.

welcome to the forum
cheers

Well, there are alot of firms that sell carpet/upholstery, not necessarily a pre-cut and fitted carpet set, but from what I've read, its not THAT hard to custom fit it yourself. Me, I've narrowed it down to some Mercedes (no flaming please) or Jaguar luxury stuff, as well as a nice selection of smooth leathers for a custom console and partial dash. I'll be using the Autometer's Phantom style gauages, they're very  . Check groovyjay's web site for a peek at his guage install..nice. MIke

As Mike suggested above, take a look at groovyjay's setup:

In addition to a custom instrument cluster and gauges, Jay also has black leather Sparco Milano seats. Having tested sitting in his car I can attest that they are comfortable and I'm considering them for my car as well.
