Took the sissy way out and put my Holley dual feed 600cfm 4150 vac sec carb on. Runs better through the transition but cannot get it to run smooth without pretty much pegging out my a/f ration at 12. Still doing the garage tune so I need to take it out for a spin to see what the cruise a/f looks like. Will post some pics of the dp and how the wires are set up. Going to follow Norval's advise and drill holes in the sec throttle plates and use thinner wire in the idle circuts.

I picked up on your mention of using the right idle screws to get the 1 1/2 turn setting, I looked at the 6 screws I have and sure enough 2 are a little diff than the other 4, any chart or list of what is available? I had to use the 2 that where diff to get the 600 to idle and adj correctly.
My digital camera decide to crap out on me. :mad Did get it run a little better but I have a feeling the O2 sensor is very dirty, car only wants to idle/run smooth when very rich.
50 lashes for you, buddy!! I've been thinking of buying a Holley book from Pace. I should do it as I doubt if this is the last Holley I will own. Thanks for the effort!
